I've gotta ask: does anyone still have this game and possibly play it?  I'm part way through the campaign but I think it'd be a heck of a lot more enjoyable by playing it with others.

I propose that we update to IC² v1.23 and install the patch someone made that fixes quantum crashes and solar lag.  I would also like to suggest that we consider some of the add-ons in the IC2 forum.  My choices would be: AdvGenerators, Charging Bench, Iron Chests, and possibly the Modular Force Field Generator and Rocket Science.  I want to hear some input from everyone, please.

Okay, since I can't find the poll button, I'm gonna ask everyone put votes of yes/no/abstain for each of the add-ons, or if they even want to update to 1.23.

Just thought I'd put out another browser based game that's f2p, though there are some store-bought bonuses available.  It is totally non-pvp, the official game IRC chat has maybe 20 people in it at a time, all decent folk and almost always a mod or two present to take out the trash when it tumbles in, and lots of helpful people and guilds.

When you join, there's a refer-a-friend program going on, my username is Sonya the fox, make sure you get that right because it's free stuff for you to do it. Also drop me a note in-game as well as Aello Starfire for a guild invite to Academy of Intelliquest, the newbie branch of the guild I'm a part of.  One of the things the guild does is a list of 'missions' that involve making you learn some of the ropes in exchange for credits and certain loaner gear that makes things easier on you.

Forgive me for giving a poor 'sales pitch', it's why I'm not a salesperson.

There is a fix for the solar array server killer, and I don't know if the quantum suit fix he mentions has anything to do with some of the crashes or not.  Just something else, besides Construction Foam, to encourage updating to v1.23, and also enhance the server some.

Minecraft / Happenings in the Chaos Cluster world (IC2, 1.8.1)

Well established bunker located!  Connection established to it via Nether portals, need metallic boots to access without a long climb up the mountain.  Rumor has it there is a powerful solar array coating the top of this fort, all powering a mystical Matter Generator.  It's said that one can earn bits of the precious UU-Matter by helping clean the machine if it.  It is also said that at night, one might be able to see a brilliant glow off in the distance, somewhere just past the fort, and it looks like some kind of machine is generating this glow.  It is said that his machine is really a Nuclear Reactor, and with no guards or traps visible so it is possible one could sneak in and use it themselves!  Now and then the occupant returns with a backpack full of what must be raw ores, because shortly after the return a great ruckus is raised, one rivaling that you might hear in a mighty factory!  What other mysteries are within this mighty stone fortress?  Is the owner friend or foe?  Are there traps waiting for the foolish to enter, or are the machines unguarded and easily accessed by outsiders?

((More to come, I need sleep before I try to add on to this, but I'm welcome to others adding on themselves))

The bunker continues to grow!  It has expanded outwards, doubling the size of it's roof, more rooms must be getting added, and word has it there's a door into the hillside right there behind the fort.  Upon closer inspection, it has been found that there is a lever, and when flipped cobblestone is pushed up out of the floor!  Not just one piece, though, but three stacks, and there seems to be no end to them not matter how hard one may try to get rid of it all!

More reactors!  Upon a closer inspection, it would appear as if one massive reactor is meant for usage while the rest are setup as some kind of cooling tanks for components.  Perhaps this is how they manage not to melt anything down despite long hours of constantly running.

Minecraft / IC2 for 1.8.1

Heads up people, it's hot off the press and hitting the server as I write this.  Over the next few hours the nearby area is a hazard zone as I play with new toys and see how badly I can break the server through legitimate means. (no, not griefing, just bug hunting)

EDIT: The crisis is over, DO NOT PUT NUKES OR REACTORS NEAR ANYTHING.  I was able to nuke my way through two layers of obsidian with just one detonation, and using one layer left a fair amount of damage to the area when it breached.  Reactors are supposed to be even stronger.  WATER DOES NOT SAVE YOU!  Several layers of water and a nuke was not only able to breach the single layer of obsidian 4 blocks away but it actively DESTROYED the water containing it.  DO NOT MAKE NUKES!  KEEP REACTORS AT 30000 feet and away from ANYTHING, even landscape, and behind atleast a layer of obsidian anyway.

Now that the warnings are over, the server is safe to return to, I will be on tomorrow(today for those of you who have to be 'correct' about everything) and have the power to give people their stuff back from previous iterations of the server (since I'm reclaiming mine),  There will be a solar array to siphon power from once I've had time to sleep and not electrocute myself wiring it up, and there will be machines to utilize too.  Teleporters are functional, they do not spontaneously combust for no reason, the electric jetpack works (loses strength with altitude), nothing else has been able to affect obsidian, I think that's all I have to report.  My aim is in my profile if you need me.
