Just to let you know, 3 matter in the middle column makes a single lava source block.  Not cheap, I know, but it will let you make lava if you can't find any

Unexplored cave near base transport partly explored. A large ore density has been found, and a massive lava fountain that will supply the generators for a month!

Also, a skeleton dungeon has been found in it as well.

A perfect way to make arrows, which will be in high demand.
