This thread is to discuss this year's Crimbo event.

So far there's been an addition to hobopolis, Elf Alley. It acts just like any other hobo zone, and has approximately 500 hobelves there. I'm not sure if this is just for the Crimbo season or what, but we've cleared every zone on this run except the town square. Just so you all know... If we can finish up this current hobo run, we can re-open hobopolis and have another go at Elf Alley. We need to drive off around 1112 hobos to finish this up. I would like to get everyone a piece of Uncle Hobo's loot, since it can be zapped into his beard and grant 6 adv at rollover and 9 in Dec.

One of these days I really need to finish this damn run so I can get the hell out of HC, never ascend again, and join this stuff.

Been busy recently so dropped out of playing a bit...but the lure of Crimbo items can draw me back. To Hobopolis!

we only need 214 more hobo to hit 3000... I'm not sure how many scarehobos i've made, but i know i've made at least 10. So that should put us below 134 hobo left We should be looking at another run within around 24 hrs or so. Assuming we can get the loot divided out quickly

Loot division should be pretty easy, since Gal did like 95% of the work. I threw together the calcs though:

Galeesa: 6.4 items
GPH: 4.0 items
Me: 0.4 items

So, actually, GPH did more work than I thought. Since you guys both start with "G" it gets a little hard to differentiate you two sometimes.

Anyway, I don't need anything, so split what you want.

just curious, but in order to make sure that everyone gets a uncle hobo drop, do you think that we should flood the sewers after defeating uncle hobo and distributing the loot, and open it right back up?

I'm not sure we're really rich enough to justify that...

Depends how much people want the crimbo stuff really. I'm not so fussed that I'm bothered about dropping millions of meat to do it personally *shrugs*

Just noticed that opening hobopolis is 1 mil. For some reason I thought it was more expensive than that 

We could do it if you like...I'm sure we'll all make enough money from Crimbo to be able to afford it in the long run

well, i've got my beard... so i'll let you 2 decide who gets this one, close it up, and clean out the sewers again

By the way, the CRIMBCo HQ has opened up shop in the mountains. There's some pretty nice skills for sale in the gift shop there.
