hmm, first thing that comes to mind sadly IS a genocide, bad sign. not a race related one, more of a quarantine of spasific human spread disease to force them into extinction lol... then maybe a universal currency, another trip to the moon (to shut up all the "ITS A CONSPIRACY" nuts) and using all the money normally invested into war, route it to science to help enhance out knowledge about the universe around us
