Intro to Tinywarz Part: 3 The joy of Relics
« on: November 05, 2010, 05:07:49 am »
Hello once again, If you've adventured onto either Konu or Esika, You may have noticed little black objects scattered around the planet, and although they are small, they can cause you great profit, as well as great loss.  They are Relics, only found on Konu and Esika, they can be used to gain both yourself and the faction command and, thus, money.  Esika relics offer command for every turn they are in your posession, to capture them, you must first clear the quad (10x10 square) of all enemy bandits and enemy players, jump on the relic with any unit, that go to commands, there will be something at the top that says "capture relic".

Once the relic is yours, it will have a green aura under it, just like the ones under your units and buildings.  If this is Esika, You're done, go about your business, keep leveling, and you will get command at the end of the cycle for every turn that passes with it in your possession! a couple turns is all it takes to cover your drop cost, so if you see one, grab it and keep going!

Konu, on the other hand, isn't quite so easy. the payout only goes to whoever is HOLDING the relic at the end of the cycle, so if you see a relic that is unguarded near the end of a cycle, grab it! just watch out and be careful, that can be very dangerous, as it is a bigger reward on Konu and people WILL guard it.  An easy way to protect a relic on Konu if it's yours is to drop a cloaked unit near it, as enemy's can't cap when you're in the quad, and you're invisible, so they just flat out can't cap, if they can't detect you.

like most other planets, those are both PVP enabled, so when exploring or looking for relics, be careful!

Message me in game or post here if you have any further questions!  Go get those relics!
