Neverwinter Night

I've gotta ask: does anyone still have this game and possibly play it?  I'm part way through the campaign but I think it'd be a heck of a lot more enjoyable by playing it with others.

I have the discs... somewhere. If I can't find them, it's probably 10 bucks via download at this point, so I'd definitely be up for a multiplayer run of it if we have a few players.

Okay, I only have the gold version of NWN (Only has the first of thw two expansions).  NWN2 though, from what I've gathered, is supposed to be a fair bit better, and it and its expansions are available through Steam for $9.99 until the 2nd.  I'm getting it this Christmas with some of my Christmas money.

I've actually heard 1 is better than 2, but I haven't really played 2, so not sure on that.

2 has better graphics, and uses 3.5 rules......that's about it. It's not a Bioware game, and tends to be a little buggy imo

Only just noticed this :D

I still have NWN1 installed and NWN2 on steam.

I have a preference for NWN1 though this may just be nostalgia because I've probably played NWN1 more than any other game ever :P including many many hours of multiplayer.

Having said that the main campaigns for NWN are kinda rubbish (I have a particular loathing for SoU but thats possibly just because I first played that as a paladin and I find them incredibly boring :P) - downloadable player made modules are where it's at. In so far as I'm aware NWN2 has far less of these but the actual main campaigns themselves are slightly less rubbish (time may have allowed fans to make some new modules by now, no idea haven't checked it out in a while).

It's not a Bioware game

As much as I loby Bioware (and I do :P) they seem to have stopped making their games multiplayer which sucks :(

As a side note I'm actually currently playing Baldurs Gate II with my brother :P Last playthrough we went all the way through BG1, 2 and started Throne of Bhall before giving up. My dwarf barbarian while natural health regen from 20 con who healed instead of getting fatigued from travelling was fun :D This time round I'm playing a ranger/cleric because yay spells :P

So in summary, if you fancy playing a multiplayer rpg I'm up for that :P

Ok, so I got out my almost unused Forgotten realms boxed set and installed nwn, only to find that I can't play it or either expansion without cracking it (keeps on telling to to insert this or that disc >< ) So I guess i'm out :(
