I have the "Hide Email From Public" option enabled.

But, why is there a option to email me in the username list?

That opens a form you can type into, which then has the server itself email you (or at least should, but I think the feature is borked atm). No one using the form actually knows what inbox they're mailing to, just that it's going to you.

AFAIK, no spammers are presently abusing the form, if they are, I'll disable it for accounts with a <10 post count.

Hmm, I thought there was an option for that... somewhere, but there doesn't appear to be. We're about to switch to version 2 of this forum software, and I'll see if the option exists then. If not, I'll add it to the list.
