TW Guides / How to Get easy commands below lvl 40 from relics
« on: January 21, 2011, 08:29:57 am »
“ Relics, only found on Konu and Esika, they can be used to gain both yourself and the faction command and, thus, money.  Esika relics offer command for every turn they are in your posession, to capture them, you must first clear the quad (10x10 square) of all enemy bandits and enemy players, jump on the relic with any unit, that go to commands, there will be something at the top that says "capture relic".

Once the relic is yours, it will have a green aura under it, just like the ones under your units and buildings.  If this is Esika, You're done, go about your business, keep leveling, and you will get command at the end of the cycle for every turn that passes with it in your possession! a couple turns is all it takes to cover your drop cost, so if you see one, grab it and keep going!”

How to Get easy commands below lvl 40

Command in Dropshock is very important, it cost commands to do pretty much anything and it can be also used as in-game currency.
This guide will help newer players take advantage of Esika relic to gain commands
Esika is a pvp planet which has 3 relics (sometimes 4), it is limited to lvl 40 or less so chance of running into pvp is lower than other planets.
Relic give your faction command for every turn it has been captured, so the earlier you find it more command your faction gets, the longer you hold it more command your faction gets. Chaos Cluster has the relic payout to give the person who captured the relic 90% 100% of the command earned. This is a lot, you can get around 200 command easy per relic.

What is recommend for fastest Relicing
8 Lone-Eye with 1 slot
8 Shield shutter
7 crew lvl 1 preferably
That’s give u 8 speed 11 lone eye to look for relics with.

Esika is 21 x 21 planet assuming each unit can cover 3 space only 7 is needed but, 8 is recommend so uou don’t run across the bandit but along the border

What to do when you have your army set up

Deploy to Esika preferably right when it comes up from horizon but 10~ 20 turn pass is good also, if it has only 60~ turn it can be done but I would just wait til next once came up for good profit, if less then 40 turn left wait for the next one

Look at your coordinate and find the closest border. You start sending your Lone Eyes everywhere but that make it very confusing to remember which area you covered already. Once at the border move out of bounds and start making a line of lone eyes each at coordinates (0,-1) , (30,-1), (60,-1), (90,-1), and so on til 210.

I recommend moving along the borders of quadrant to prevent running into bandits, if you are moving 11 a turn any ballistic and laser will have very low chance of hitting, where you dont have to worry about using evasive action or wild maneuver, but missile bandits will hit with good percentage and kiill lone eye moving at 11, so when you see missile bandit like ballista, whirlwind make sure to avoid them by distancing yourself diagonally away or running close to them where there range bonus is not applied.

Next is the easy part move all Lone eye across the map in a straight line looking for relics, once you find a relic cap it and move on. To Cap a relic you need all bandit, enemy out of the 10x10 so you might need to use another Lone eye nearby to lure away the bandits while the other one caps it

It takes about 10~15 turns to move all Lone eye in place and start the search, you should find all the relic by at least turn 55, which mean each relic , if no one steals it, should pay you 200 command. 200x3 = 600 command for 40~ minutes of work. You can choose to stay on esika and try to guard the relic from other player by jumping lone eyes around it, or just undeploy and go to konu or taris to get some levels while you wait for the relic to pay you.

The least I got from a relic was 50 commands, when some one took is like 20~ turns after. Which is still more then what u spent to deploy. It really depends on the time you play but the chance are 1 outta 3 relic will pay u the full 200~250 command

Will add Screenshots and edit grammar in the near future
