it seems a bit silly to build a program that automatically finds codes to block automatic codes from doing things without human help, so i present to you, a couple i've found that a bot wouldn't have a super large amount of difficulty getting around, but a real person wouldn't have a hope in hell of getting!

the first and second require help from a char map, while the third... just looks like black poo.

Comments? :P

Other Games / Globulos!

Back in my days of highschool this game brought my grade 11 programming and engineering classes to a screaming stop to have massive compitions with the teacher of the classes, fun, simple, short, quite addicting, played it many times with Trerro, and a couple with a couple other CC'rs.  always good for killing time!

Hello all, just woundering if someone could explain exactlly how it would work in HC, i mean, i know it summons 3 drink items, but how would you use it for extra adventures in HC?  for example i use 1 clover in the kitchens and use those parts to make 2x foods to last me the day with sauce/pasta, so far as i can see, theres no high chance way of gaining a craft-able booze to use the summoned items with, as only a couple booze's from the top of the barrel of barrels can be used with the items to make better drinks.  Just trying to figure out how effective this skill's effect is in HC, and how reliable it is, anyone?

You concentrate all of your body heat into your fist, then shake it at your opponent. The resulting fireball sears him for 24648 damage. Hadouken!

 You lose an effect: Salamanderenity

You win the fight!

You gain 13 Muscleboundness

Alright, so i'm about to finish my first Fist run (lol?) as Turtle Tamer.  A few things i've noted:

- Its nearly impossiable to buy skills or food/drink due to lack of meat, thus Knoll seems the ideal sign to go with
- 31337 scroll will cut your daily meat cost nearly in 1/2, so burning a semirare up there is a good idea
- Clovers in the casino for 300ish meat is a good idea
- Don't finish the Dun of Doom quest tel near the end so you can still get the 300 meat from Lowercase L
- Cake Shaped Arena is almost useless, so skills to +pet weight for the sorc speeds things up ALOT
- Knob market can't be unlocked since you can't wear elite outfit for the password
- Moxie class may be ideal since all the skills are 100% hit, and decent damage
- Starting the nemisis quest is no real big deal, as you can't finish it
- Play a class that you either don't need to learn the skills for/already have perm'd
- Use the Haram +400 meat adventure every day to pay for daily expences

I'll add to this as i go i suppose, trying AC next run!

Kingdom of Loathing / Timers
« on: August 31, 2011, 01:16:25 am »
Has anyone else noticed that the 10 timers you can set all have diff discriptions? really quite awsome :D

Timer 1

This is a timer that you set to remind yourself of something very important.

Timer 2

This is a timer you set to remind yourself to take care of some important, serious business.

Timer 3

This is a timer that you set to remind yourself of the things you gotta do today.

Timer 4

This is a timer you set because it was less painful than tying a string around your finger.

Timer 5

This is a timer that you set to remind yourself of the good times to come. Or perhaps your impending doom, depending on the context.

Timer 6

This is a timer that you set because... Listen, we've been talking about this a lot, and... We think you might be developing a timer problem.

Timer 7

Seriously, we're only doing this because we really care about you, and we don't want to see you get hurt.

Timer 8

Honey, don't get mad. It's okay. Nobody's judging you. We all understand why you may have felt like it was a good idea to set so many timers. We're just worried about you, that's all.

Timer 9

Y'know what ? I give up. If your stupid timers are really more important to you than your friends and your family, then screw it. You can have them. I hope you have a great life together.

Timer 10

I'm taking the kids. We'll be at my mother's.

Only noticed this the other day :P

Kingdom of Loathing / New Seasonal harder run thingie whos name i forget
« on: August 17, 2011, 11:21:58 pm »
Anyway, starting the 15th of aug the next special path was unlocked, so no more bee's, i acended that day and started the HC run as a TT.

things i've noticed so far: Things are hard without any weaps or shields, but the skills you can obtain are VERY powerful for lower levels, with 14 drunk you can hit almost 140 on monsters. (skill does more damage based on drunkenness.)

Meat is VERY hard to come by, to give you an idea how badly its scaled down, beefy bodyguards give about 15ish meat, and +% meat mods appear not to work.

One very big deturant i see coming up is because i cant yeald any weap at all, i can't finish the TT nemisis quest, unless it was altered for the path like a couple other things.

it is very hard to get clovers to speed things up as it almost takes 50% of your income at the start of the game per day to get the worthless items.

Items also can not be auto sold at all, so yeah, FML.

I will keep updating as i run into future issues!

Chaos Cluster / Giant FP contest (round 2!)
« on: August 17, 2011, 10:53:01 pm »
Alright, so by the sounds of it everyone wants to have another FP contest.  So i'm going to start workin out the framework for a new contest:

Goal:

achive 1000 points by a combanation of any means listed.

Points:

1 point for 2 Hadeus beacons

2 point per unknown processed

5 points for a first cap on a Inf node (from the 100 first cap payout if it still does that?) (it doesn't)

1 point from every 20 FP obtained from a solo zed beacon

1.5 points for every mod strux donated to the faction (up to 50 points)

There will be other small ways to earn points via small arenas and silly little games

Prizes:

There will be a prize for the first person to hit 1000 points, the the two runners up, and a smaller prize for everyone with 100+ points.

The point of this is to encourage activity and compatition within the faction.

Units for netting on hadeus will be supplyed, so will ore procs and fusions for dom, and units if you choose to net there as well. If you do not have base deployment acsess mail either myself or trerro so we can activate it for you.

This is just a first layout, its up for critisum before the contest actually starts, so would loby to hear some input and ideas for prizes!

-Ian

PS: ontop of points we will still be paying TB:

1:20 FP on Zed
1:3 beacons on Hadeus
1TB per unknown on Dom :)

Kingdom of Loathing / My first FAIL attempt at bee's
« on: July 11, 2011, 07:46:40 am »
So last month i started a bee's run, i've only acended a couple times, so i lack very many perm's skills, i have both the huge TT passives, and thats really about it, So i started my run, and here's how it's going

-21 days in, i'm still eating at least 10 fortune cookies for food
-depending on Gnome booze for adventures (only been able to actually buy 4 random booze from them so far)
-have not been able to hit a single bee monster.. once.. tossing every one of em to death
-currently on the war, where my uniform requires me to figure out how to full heal every 4 adventures
-Ave. 94 adventures/day

Lessons learned! Do not attempt without some kinda food crafting; and without some serious healing skills.

Seriously, it blows, and sucks, like the giant robot maid at the end of spaceballs. cept somehow stuck in both suck and blow at the same time.

Tinywarz / As it stands.
« on: July 09, 2011, 08:10:12 pm »
Hello all, well mostly Hello Chris, as Mike, Sonya, and Bran, and Leeluk have appeared to have been banished to the great white north by the great flying spaghetti monster.  Just kinda if you guys see this want you to know what's been happening lately.

Most of our enemy's of yesterday have fallen apart, no more Merc, no more Knight, no more Team Banzai (just the leader left).  Our only real competition for Hellion FP is a new faction called Spit on Water (SoW), who spend the first half of every cycle on Inf, fighting for a supernode, so the first 50% of every hellion cycle is 100% ours, After that they generally force us off simply for lack of coverage, as its only myself and Chris with the capability, knowledge, and tactics to fend SoW off.

Zed, we have allies to support us and enemy's of our enemy's to support us too (lol Mattao, what a weird guy) Latenight we generally own zed, being able to pull in 500_PF a night we're both actually around, we have the units and tactics to fend off alot, but once again, we simplly lack the man power if we get outguned.

So long story short, To any Sub-leaders, Where are you? come back? we miss you <3.

And any CC'rs who don't play dropshock...

Thanks for your time

TW Guides / Leveling on Aldus 101
« on: December 30, 2010, 01:59:49 am »
Alright, so over the last couple weeks I've doing alot of aldus leveling, and been getting 150k+ exp a cycle without much trouble at all.  after seeing a couple try and fail at what i do to level, i figured I'd make a guide for it, so here we go!

Alright so first of all, the ideal (as far as I've found) unit for Aldus powerleveling is the HMM+, so I'll use that as the basis of this guide. Here is what my HMM looks like:

Note the extra shields/armor come from my passive skills; Army of one, Ironhide, and Shieldmaster.

Now to deploy, once you land, you only need to move about 15 spaces to get to where you need to be to level, as you can see here:

every three turns make sure to summon an offensive drone (every four turns if you don't have acti-master) and always keep your drones on the same SQUARE as your hiveminder, bandit's will never target them if you do this.  Once at the edge of your quad simply move between the four squares highlighted in red to keep summoning bandits, each time 1 spawn is dead, leave that quad so it is empty (other then ore and bodies) then hop back into it to summon more, the good thing about this form of leveling is no matter how slow your unit is, you can level quickly. If nothing spawns in a quad, just leave it, and enter it again to try spawning something again, it seems there is about a 25% chance it will be empty, 70% chance a bandit will spawn, and 5% chance shak will spawn.

to mass move your HMM and your drones, select the stack, and hit W, this is much easier then moving everything 1 unit at a time, also, note: when summoning a drone, DO NOT MOVE if there are bandits near, wait a turn then move while the skill cools, or the bandit will just blow up your drone and you'll have gotten nowhere.

Things to watch out for!!! Shak, if they spawn, evac asap, don't wait around, just evac and run the other way, you can then redrop elsewhere and repeat tel shak come and crash the party.  Also, Kill all supernova's and brightlances before they get within 4 range, a supernova can do about 150 damage per turn if you let it get close, wich can easily result in you loosing your command unit, so be careful, always know where your unit is in case you need to run back and salvage.

The more you do it, the better you will get at it, you can start off killing only one spawn at a time, and work your way up to triggering all four spawns at once.  Good luck

PS: if you don't beleive you can get 150k+ exp/cycle, just remember that most bandits give you between 700 and 1800 exp/kill, and here's what the end of a perfect cycle looks something like :P
