I haven't been very active recently due to the fact that I bought the entire ME trilogy for PC and have been playing through each game at least twice :p Currently on my 2nd ME3 playthrough... but I should be more active in a few weeks or so. Unless I get the Deadpool game for Xmas :p

I know I've missed a lot of the old members... are there any requests for ppl to be added to the whitelist? Preferably with player # included as it makes sure that I get the right one :p Glad to see the clan repopulate so quickly with the ones that I could remember offhand. I'm slowly adding the ones that were still in the logs when I took quasi-control back.

Pit- I just added you to the whitelist. Please don't be offended at the rank... I haven't had a chance to meet you here or in game yet. If someone wants to vouch for him or change his rank, by all means. I still want to go by the everyone's a leader motto... but maybe it's best if we put a probationary time period for new members. (Not saying you are, just new to me is all :p )

Also, can't remember if I posted this previously or not, but I do not have the capability to boot this asshat out of the clan as we are of semi-equal rankings (only he's still leader). So once the recycler comes through and deletes his account, I should be re-instated as leader with full control to divvy out permissions once again. My current level only permits me application processing and whitelisting. So if I've missed anyone and they don't want to wait for a whitelist, they can simply apply again as well. (Can't believe I forgot that part )

So I just started playing this f2p called Rift. It's your typical rpg but on occaision rift open across the world, the cash mall doesn't break the game and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself.... I'm not one to post elaborate explanations of a game... I have fun playing and you might too...

If you decide to play be sure to add Galeesa as one of your friends :p

That whitelist was from me... I'm doing all I can to get us back into our old standing. I've even offered up my JEW hat to get him to disappear.... which will put him at +60 mil if he takes. Be happy I could get us this far...he did not want to set a precedent so we have to do much of it behind the scenes and make allies where we can... Aradama is not one to approach for help in this. However, I've had offers of help from other clans... So If we're persistant, we should prevail. I was told that Place Holding's account has been blocked. So we should have full control within a month

if there's anyone else that will be active for the coming month, please let me know. So I can add them to the whitelist

So after lots of psting and pming on the KoL forums... we simply have to wait for Place Holding to go inactive (roughly 3-4 weeks) and the clan should be ours assuming none of us go inactive in that time frame. I've been told that this account was disabled so that shouldn't be too difficult. Our thread on the forums was closed because the mods thought it was starting to get out of hand thanks to one individual, but that has also been taken care of.

END STATE:

 The Power of Meep should be ours again no later than the new year.

Good Evening,

 I just recently came back from a deployment to find that the clan (The Power of Meep), of which I was leader at the time, had been completely decimated. All of the players that I had been playing with had been kicked out (myself included), and it contained only two members, Sheldon and Place Holding. Many of the clan have been playing this game since 2006 and take a few month hiatus from time to time now since we have been playing this game for 7 years. Everyone of those members, however, had dropped real money on this game hoping that would help us maintain our permanency in the game.
 I know I bought into the game after my first account had been wiped during my first deployment to Iraq, and I lost all my time shards and other one time items. I just find it hard to believe that I can serve my country and come home to find that everything that I spent years building up, completely destroyed with no chance of returning to it. (He's disabled applications and hasn't responded to messages so I've been told)
 But even if we cant get the clan back, is there anyway for us to restart a clan that has all the Mr. A and one time items up that we put into it? I know that I've probably spent over $150 on this game myself with the intent to spend more when I got home, but without m a clan with my friends to do tube runs for and what-not... the drive just isn't there, you know?

 If you need more information, or if there is anything else that you need from me to that might help you in making your decision on our fate, please let me know... I'm racing nightly maintenance at the moment. I did send the current leader of our clan a message asking if he would be kind enough to hand it back over, but I haven't received a response yet.

I know that there was a topic created a year or so back, but after an hour of searching... I could not find it and I didn't want to revive a long dead thread.

I know that the RA...(excuse me CC) tends towards the free games, but I also know that as gamers, we tend to have multiple outlets to get our gaming fix. As such, I was wondering if we there was a spark of interest in console gaming. Granted the next gen consoles are most likely right around the corner(wiiU comes out next month i believe), but most people will still probably be playing what's out now for at least a while into the next generation of consoles. Just a thought, I cannot for the life of me remember the outcome of the last topic similar to this, but if we have multiple platforms... who knows we may bring a whole new set of faces here.

I currently own a wii and ps3, but game mostly on my ps3.

Assassin's Creed III (at then end of the month... can't wait)
Borderlands (1 & 2) 4 player co-op

CoD BO (had to see what the hype was about & not bad if you can get in a lobby without the 31337ists)

there's bound to be a few more... but at the moment, this is what i can think of off the top of my head. And no, I will not be buying anymore CoD games. If I'm going to buy a sequel... the story had better be worth it.

Looks like RL keeps trying to drag me away... but I will not let it! Anywhose I've updated my email in my profile. So if you ever need me or just have questions feel free to send away. Especially if you need slime tube info or nodules(I can get 2 per run), but I have to be the only one it that run... unless you can roll full slime hates it gear. I'm saving kol and CC back into my favorites as I have a new PC. So hopefully this time you'll see me around more often again :-p

Like trerro said... if you got the cat advanced and didn't immediately set it as your familiar, you most likely got at least one combat adventure. Poof** bye bye perm BM unlock I believe the advanced is the first one you encounter in the area it spawns in. I could be wrong though...

you need to have aquired the base item on your own(the rusty stuffs). The tickle just makes it possible for a slime to change that item into the slime covered upgrade. And yes it must be equipped and it could be any slime, so you'll have to read the attack msgs to know when it happens because afterwards you'll have a slot with nothing equipped :-p

Hey everyone! Sorry, i haven't been around much lately, but life kind of got in the way as it tends to do sometimes.

quick update:
found a job, quit drinking, wife got pregnant, went back to school to finish my computer engineering degree, wife had daughter, life slowly starting to get back into a routine :p

that's it more or less in a rather short synopsis (: Hopefully i'll be back and taking a more active role here once again. Time to finish up that bad moon run from last year

Basically you gain the covered in slime effect at the beginning of each combat assuming that you don't already have it. The number of turns you get depends on what your +ML is. 10 turns for +0ML. This will damage you for a larger amount the fewer turns you have remaining. Luckily, you can use chamois to wipe the slime off and start over. So when you find the slime doing too much damage... wipe it off also there are various items that will give you slime resistance allowing you to sustain the effect longer.

As for the slime covered gear, you'll need to tickle the uvula and then equip the basic item. Eventually one of the slimes will eat your item and you'll receive the new one in return.
Here's a list of the basic item, their slime covered component, and it's end item after combining it with a nodule:

depending on whether you want the cudgel and shield or the scythe... the rusty components will run around 100k at current mall prices, but that's everything all at once. After that a nodule for each piece, and those go for about 200k each.

Head: Rusty diving helmet > slime covered helmet > corrosive cowl

Hand: Rusty grave robbing shovel > slime covered shovel > villainous scythe (2h)

Hand: rusty piece of rebar > slime covered club > pernicious cudgel
off-hand: rusty old lantern > slime covered lantern > grisly shield

Pants: rusty metal greaves > slime covered greaves > corroded breaches

Accessory: rusty compass > slime covered compass > malevolent medallion

Accessory: rusty chain necklace > slime covered necklace > baneful bandolier

bear in mind i wrote that back in May :p
