I wonder what that acorn does too. Maybe the chest open in a few days, you plant the acorn in it, and get a familiar or somesuch?

It is, but that's 60 degrees C, not F. :P

I wish the US would use the damn metric system.

You wake up and notice a bear sleeping on your couch. It's the bear's now. :P

I wish more people would follow their dreams and less would become drones.

I'd leave it open. No one is being harmed by it, no one is forcing them to use the store, and if it's making a good profit, then there's clearly a demand for the products.

You've been granted a million dollars, which you can spend on anything you want to... but there's one catch. Anything not spent in 24 hours is gone.

You become an asteroid just large enough to shatter a snow globe.

I wish I could draw well.

Someone shoots a red robin, throws it on a plate, and leaves it on your doorstep.

I wish I had claws... nails are useless. :P

It's finished, but a poorly dyed red shirt turned everything pink.

I wish I wasn't stuck in CT.

I see your metal rod, and ship it to Cape Cod.

Dev.risingalliance.net is our test site, and it's where we build everything before launching it here, so we can fix the major bugs before they can interfere on the real site.

The problem is that a few links on THIS site still pointed to the dev one, and as a result, people were getting accounts on the wrong site, which is a pain in the ass, as it's not at all obvious when you create an account on the wrong site (since they're nearly identical.)

I'm currently trying to fix ALL links on this site, as well as change the structure of them in the PHP code so that they'll be automatically correct in the future. I thought I had fixed them all previously, but Bearsus ended up with a dev account, and Iggy just found that the copyright at the bottom was pointing to the wrong site.

If you find anything else that points to the wrong site, please let me know.

Can you tell me where you got your signup link? I DO see your first intro post, but it went to our development site, not the active one, which means you somehow made an account on the dev site.

I THOUGHT I fixed all links to point to the correct site, but I clearly missed one.

Make sure you didn't make a typo once, save it in your browser, and then reuse the typoed version. Also, if you're typing it, type it slowly and carefully to make sure you're not just making an error. If you have a complex password, it's actually quite easy to type it wrong 2-3 times in a row, especially since you can only see *s in the box.

The problem with auto-translators is that they only know words, not context or intent. They generally do a passable job if given languages with a common root (Spanish->English for instance), but it give it something like Japanese->English, and it'll fail hard.

Even if you DO use 2 languages with relatively similar rules, they're going to screw up slang, wordplay, humor, etc, as well as guessing wrong when a word can have 2 meanings but requires 2 different words in the target language.

im pretty sure not a lot of people here know every english word.

With the speed tech advances at paired with the huge number of countries that speak English, even if as of this second you DO know every word, you won't 3 hours from now. :)

This isn't a gaming forum... it's just a bunch of guys that know each other, some of whom are trying to make it into a gaming forum

It was a forum originally for people playing a game called KoC. While the game and the in-game alliance it was created for are both long dead, it remains a forum populated by people who are gamers of some kind... so even if it's not a gamING forum atm, it's still a gamER forum.
