I tried "investigating" how I first ended up registering, and posting an intro in the dev site, but I couldn't... sorry. :-[

Oh... so that's why I had to post a second (third? counting the original... :P ) intro.

Does that mean that my "other" intro can be seen in the "RA"?

I like your thread, Viggo! :)

I can't remeber exactly when I joined the RA, but back then, I had a lot of time. Enough for being 12 hrs a day online (very flexible working time, since I worked on my own), and had not many hobbies but an online game called Kings of Chaos.

Since then many things have changed, except maybe for my internet addiction... :P

Now I work for a company (Car Dealership) as Marketing and F&I Manager, which gives me plenty of business during the day, but I still manage to be online long enough to check on Facebook (where I play both Mafia Wars, and Mob Wars), a Spanish GS-motorcycle forum, and now, the RA too.

I'm still single (was going to write happily single, but there might be a confussion with being happy, and being... extremely happy :P ), and pretty much spend my free time with friends, or riding around central Mexico on my motorcycle.

Since I spend much of the day sitting in front of a computer, I started attending a yoga shala (or yoga school) twice a week (just for fun: imagine a 6", 240 lb (1.80 m, and 125 Kg) guy,  dressing sweat pants and t-shirt, reaching for his toes... that's me), and I just loby it...

Just finished reading Arturo Perez Reverte's La Reina del Sur (there's an English translation: The Queen of the South),  which is an awful lot of fun to read (no spoiler here: a gal who becomes drug dealer after her drug dealing BF gets killed), and will start reading Dan Bronw's Angels and Demons (have not watched the movie yet).

I'd love to have more time so I could recuperate some long lost hobbies (like playing bass with my old band, singing in the school choir, rowing (yeah, I did that too), and I'd definitely woul loby to have time to get my racing driver's license.

So that's pretty much it (at least for now...).

If it's meant to be kept a secret, I'd keep that friend's confession a secret. I mean, if it's hurting nobody (not even him/herself), and if he's/she's comfortable with keeping it that wat, I'd support his/her decission. In the end, the person will come out/come clear or not, but it's not my call to make.

What would you do to convince the CEO and the board of the company you work for, to spend money on marketing/advertising to boost sales, instead of cutting costs (i.e. firing ppl)? (is happening as you read, in many, many companies)

You are shrunk by an amazing machine to molecular size, however, unable to contain a microscopic being within the shrinking chamber, you "fall" into a molecule of the chamber's floor. Having changed in size, the otherwise harmless electromagnetic forces of the atoms work 100,000,000 times stronger than before, upon your now tiny, and fragile body, thus desintegrating you into a million micronic sized pieces.

(Is "micronic" actually a word?? lol)

I wish I'd stop wishing, what I never should've wished.  ;)

Oh, come on Trerro...  :-\

I had a blast for over 3 years "terrorizing" friends.
Whenever I could, after some months of having forgotten, I'd tell them: You just lost!!

And now? What am I going to do? *sob*

:P

But I won't tell them there's a way of winning The Game... mwahahaha  ;D

I'd become a Vegan.
Though being a declared carnivore, and a dairy consumer (I had to give up most dairies in RL).
Having to depend on pills, and getting hiccups every 12 seconds is no way to live a life. And there's always tofu, soymilk, and soymeat... (yuk!!! :S ).

On a given day you are given the opportunity to choose: you can choose between a wealthy, 10 year life, or a struggling 25 year life. What would you do?

chupa = Zapotec for 2
(my father was born in Juchitan, State of Oaxaca, and my grandparents and older aunts spoke Zapotec and Spanish).

Isn't it obvious? I'd get a videocam with twin visors and set it on negative vision to compensate for the change... :P

What would yo do if you suddenly realized you're living in the Matrix?
(without Neo and Morfeus and Trinity to help out, but knowing you're in it)
