Feedback & Bug Reports / Re: Text Box Problems
« on: March 14, 2010, 03:48:46 pm »
now that i'm trying to replicate it here after bringing it up... i can't get it to work anymore <_< i don't run any plugins to my knowledge.

Edit:
hah! i just got it to replicate, but i was mistaken about it scrolling back to the top... it scrolls up just enough to hide the bottom line. And i had to "modify" the post to get it. And now that i think about it, every time i had it happen to me was when i was editting a post.

Feedback & Bug Reports / Text Box Problems
« on: March 12, 2010, 11:51:59 pm »
It's not really a major problem as most posts/replies do not fill the entire text box. However, for those posts/replies that fill the entire box and causes the scroll bar to appear, it will continually scroll to the top of the box with every keystroke. It makes it rather complicated to ensure that what you are typing in grammatically correct or spelled right :P I'm running IE version 8.0.6001.18882. Not entirely sure if anyone else has had this problem, but it has happened to me multiple times. If you have any questions or can't replicated this, shoot me a pm :) Thanks

A Monopoly police force is established, unfortunately they misinterpret the law and enforce a ban on the much loved board game... Soon everyone leaves the game behind and turn to the Game of Life. Shortly thereafter, everyone accepts the fact that the number of children and type of job you have is left to a card dealt of number spun on the dial. This places morons running nuclear reactors causing multiple meltdowns, leaving the world in a nuclear winter to whither and die.

I wish the history channel would go back to showing historical programs again.

i also agree with gph that if we have a stacked vip room, we'd having something that could potentially pull in more members. i was looking at strategies for the sub-1100 turn hobo runs, and it looks like we'll need at least 7 ppl with the class specific instruments already. So i think that might be out of the question for us. so once i have 200 turns saved up again... it looks like i'll be heading to the tube again...

also, i had another idea for us to snag some meat... we could possibly rent out our dungeons. again, it's just an idea :P I was also hoping for some decent profits from the new antique portrait of a landscape, but that didn't pan out :P

sorry for the double post but it's rather annoying to type once you've filled the text box because it keeps popping the view to the top. so you end up guessing that you typed everything correctly :P

I only have a little over 1 mil myself. i suppose i could trudge through the tube some more and use the proceeds to help out.
* Galeesa jumps for joy at the up-coming monotony :P

looking at the wiki it seems that the glass has potential to give at least 20 turns of some decent buffs daily. I'm not sure where the price of the "drink me" potions will settle out at, but it could make for a decent amount of profit for at least a few months... maybe :P I'm not sure if i'd replace my plastic pumpkin bucket for the ittah bittah huckah or not. I do know that if we had some stuff in the vip room, i'd find a way to get a key.

I have no pieces of the crimbo tree however. I spent my bux on crates... kicking myself for that one now :(

edit:
they also haven't implemented the store in the rabbit hole.. .so who knows what else will be available there

that i did not realize. i thought that if you got one vip invite... everyone in the clan had access. Just like when i fronted all the meat to open the basement. that puts a whole new light on things then <_< i was really hoping to be able add another facet for the whole clan.

well, it looks like this months item would only be worth getting if we could ensure that at least the 4 of us would be able to benefit from it. $30 or almost 20mil in meat is quite an investment for one person to enjoy :p if we could figure out how to speed up our hobo runs... we could make quite a profit from the whackin stick and overcoat 3700 and 2300 turns respectively and even the hampster at 1100. It takes 3000 normal hobo kills to unlock hodgman. But i'm not sure if we'd be able to get enough runs completed by the end of the month. just an idea anyway :p

edit:
completely forgot about the 100 or so turns that we'd each have to spend in the sewers as well. certainly would have to have someone be "cagebait" :p so that only one person ever had to bust themselves out

edit:
so it turns out that the run has to be completed in a single day for the stick, coat, or hampster to drop... so i highly doubt we'd be able to complete it in a single day. unless we saved up 200 turns each and eat/drank enough for each of us to have 400+ turns to burn in a single day. which doesn't sound as bad now that i've talked myself through it :P

So this month's iotm costs a whopping 3 mr. a's plus a 4th to make it so you could even use it. Outrageous if oyu ask me. the problem is that it looks rather interesting and might actually be worth it :p i can't afford the clan looking glass, but i might think about getting us that VIP invitation. not quite sure yet though (:

your thoughts?

i know what you mean. i'm having a hard time getting myself to adv in the tube. i think i've spent more turns on my multi than i have on my main in the last 2 weeks.
