The Counter-Example Game.
« on: July 06, 2011, 07:40:31 pm »
Well, this is my first try at creating a thread game.

The description is as follows:

One person posts a counterexample of something, no nonsense.

Then that person makes a example.

Example: If something is cooling the room, it must be a fan.
Counterexample: The object "Cooling" the room could be a air conditioner!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Example: If all the leaves on a tree are brown, it must be fall.

Note: The admin edit on this was because this was done as 4 posts instead of 1.

The tree could be dead.

If it's a mammal, it can't lay eggs.

But a Duck-Billed Platypus is a mammal, and it can lay eggs.

If something is electronic, it must be a computer.

I'm confused, are people supposed to post a new statement after their counter argument or should you keep going with the counter argument? (seems difficult/impossible)

Anyway, It could just be a soundtrack for any 80's movie.

If you can't get it up anymore, it's probably too heavy. (hah!)

If you can't get it up anymore, it is probably caught onto something.

If it can use heat, it is a geothermal generator.

*The guy stoking the fire rustles the logs and takes a lit log out and hands it to the medicine man, a Navaho Indian dancing around with hardly any garments on but a very fashionable headdress from his time, while the peace pipe is lit, and you roll over in thy sleeping bag to see all this, the pipe is passed to you, and the perfect counter-example is thought of. blazed out of your mind you are brought to times of times passed when Germany had large air balloons that soared across the sky, the next marvel of their time.* (Game continues from a single counter-example, expanded on)
